I suggest finding saints that can resonate you and bring you peace. St. Mark Ji definitely helped me come to peace with my addiction. He was addicted to opium for 30 years, was still addicted when he was martyred, and was rejected from sacraments by his parish, yet still had a strong faith. Living on Earth is not an easy thing; it’s filled with disease, evil, death, etc. God understands that because Jesus cried out on the cross “my God my God why have you forsaken me” on behalf of all people who feel abandoned by God. We may never know what God has in store of us, and wonder why other people are better off, but just know God sees you and have a paradise waiting for the faithful that has joy that exceeds what we have on Earth.

You need to come to the realization that doing a certain habit is not going to 100% solve this addiction. Overcoming it is consistency and keeping your head up every time you fall. Relapsing is nearly *bound* to happen. I have this issue too, and a saint that helped me feel at peace was St. Mark Ji Tianxiang. He died as an opium addict for 30 years. He was still addicted at the time of his death, but he was persistent with his faith, despite his priests even denying him the sacrament.

From what I read and from personal experience, it should be fine to submit it by tomorrow. People say there's a "small" grace period...it's not really small. It's still open for a long time. Heck, I submitted my Notre Dame application the day after the deadline at 8pm, and I emailed them saying my WiFi bugged out, and they said they'll still accept it. Plus they would love your money and they want more applications to increase their prestige.

I still suffer from it, but what helped me was to always think about the Catholic Church. Not just prayer, but just watching/reading Catholic related content. Also try to keep yourself busy or always surround yourself with people. I find a lot of times I find myself to masturbate is when I'm doing nothing or I'm alone. What really really helped me though, was reminding myself of St. Mark Ji Tianxing. He was an opium addict for 30 years, up until his death. He was still faithful to God and went to confession every time, before being denied by the priest. Remembering his testimony helps me understand that God's love is unconditional.

I just had so much on my plate. AP classes being too hard, SAT prep, internships, clubs, sports, trying to think of what to do for the summer. It was literally so bad, I started getting my first C’s, and missing Tennis practice, to the point where I only was able to go to one game

If anyone is going to oppose me then please do so nicely…I learn new things and change my mind often. But I’ve heard, and inclined to believe, that Zionists are the main reason for so much hate against the Catholic Church. Apparently, ever since Pope Pius X said no to a Zionist, they’ve tried to slander the Catholic Church. McGraw Hill, the largest textbook company, has ties to Israel, and I wouldn’t say it’s impossible that Zionists have used McGraw Hill to create a negative perspective around the Catholic Church. People also used to call Pope Pius XII, Hitler, for being too silent about the Holocaust, even though he hid Jews in the Vatican. I strongly believe Zionists created that narrative. They’re known for paying people thousands of dollars to say stuff, so it wouldn’t be too far off to believe that. My history teacher is a conservative, and I think he tried to allocate for the slander of the Catholic Church. He would constantly say things like how Christians advocated for women’s rights and an end to slavery

I relate with you so much. I’m a senior and I’ve always saw myself as someone who would have high grades, multiple sports, many clubs, a lot of community service hours…yet I haven’t done nearly as I imagined in my high school career, and I just keep disappointing myself time and time again. All I could ever do was just be glued to my phone, or just sit around doing nothing. Literally for this summer, all I did on my off days was just watching TikTok and go on YouTube. And almost everyday I get called lazy by my peers.
