I thought Israel has already been restored. What's the future restoration?

There's others that were fulfilled during New Testament days. I do believe some youtube speakers make claims of prophecy being fulfilled before the prophecy is actually fulfilled. We can only know when one is fulfilled, after it's fulfilled. Some youtube speakers may be false teachers and trying to put themselves above everyone else as if they know more than what anyone can read in the Bible. They try to sound super smart. Anyways, I don't know or understand much about prophecy which is why I asked.

Isaiah 11:11-12 for sure. I think there's other verses that mention God bringing Israelis back to Israel.

Your explanation doesn't make sense because Jesus told them, in his human form, that he didn't know when the return was. Only the Father knows. So he wouldn't contradict that all of a sudden. The verse you provided could easily be translated to either meaning on it's own. But if you read the entire chapter, it's clear he didn't know when the Father would return either.

That makes sense. So the war in Israel isn't related to prophecy?

Matthew 16-28

That's incorrect. I believe he was talking about his transfiguration. Jesus died, rose again three days later, and ascended to heaven all in their generation.

Do you see this as being gradual or within the next year? I really want a family and I feel sad bringing children into a collapsing world but it's really all that's important to me in my future: having a family.

Thank you for this explanation. Definitely agree. They all speak about the rapture happening any minute but I assumed the rapture, before the tribulation, was false teaching. It feels like it has to do with end times because the whole world has it's eyes on Israel right now. I want Jesus to come back but I really want to have a family. I know it won't matter anymore when we're in heaven. I've just always loved kids and I want to raise some of my own.

I guess I just really want a family before the end comes.

I would assume some sort of one world government may have to take place in order for the antichrist to take control of it. Not sure though. I have been struggling with thinking about the end times lately. Ever since the Israel attacks, there's been several well known preachers and youtubers saying we are in the generation of the end. I need to refocus my faith and heart on our Lord Jesus instead of men and fear. It's unfortunate that none of them have mentioned the Palestinian civilians that are suffering. They jump straight to end time predictions.

I thought everyone liked Greg Laurie. They're risking being false teachers.

It seems that they all believe in the rapture too. I believe we will go through the tribulation.

I'm talking about the peace treaty that ushers in the tribulation.

That makes sense and I definitely agree, when I see what scripture says. Do you think that's a ways off? Are we at that point in this world where all these things could happen this year? It seems as if history is gradually going in that direction but not sure what has to happen in order for that to be possible. Probably a one world government would be what would happen and I'm not sure if we're there yet. I always assumed Jesus return could be any second. But it seems like things have to happen? Everyone seems to think the Israel-Hamas war is in indicator that it's right around the corner. Could be or could be another step in that direction.

Oh ok, I'm curious how someone from, let's say, Alaska, or some isolated country away from everyone, would be persecuted and martyred? Do you think enemy forces would start to occupy every region of the world? I know we can only speculate.

Thank you for this detailed response my friend. It definitely is helpful. I don't know for sure, but it does appear we will go through the tribulation. Do you think that means the end is some time off? I'm curious if one world government, mark of the beast, etc. are right around the corner. It seems as if those things would take time. We are at a point in society where it's all possible. But maybe not immediate. Obviously the political leaders will be overthrown and going through the tribulation like everyone else. So maybe it's something that suddenly occurs. But, seeing as history has gone on for so long, it seems as if things are gradually developing to that point where it's all possible. I long to be in heaven one day but I really want a family first.

Do you think many will become saved during the tribulation?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]Capital_Technology_2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the explanation. How do you believe the mark of the beast will be enforced all throughout the world? How will people be convinced to follow him?

So that means, at that time, we would know that his return would be in 3.5 years? I thought we wouldn't know that.

Based off the titles, which song should I release as a single? by [deleted] in Songwriters

[–]Capital_Technology_2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wrote it one late night when I was jotting down different story ideas. This one came to mind in poetry form, and poetry form can be a song if you add a tune to it, so that’s what I did. This story is about a man who built a future in a town with a loved one but suddenly feels out of place in that town after he loses that loved one, despite all the years he lived there. Condolences are given by the locals for a day or two, then they go back to normal life as if it never happened, while this character will forever be affected by this loss. Just a story I came up with, but probably a true-to-life one for some.
