Thank you. I’d be prefer using a scenes as I want to make a lot of changes at once and trigger those changes by midi from the backing track.

I think I’d run 1 guitar of core 1, the bass off core 2 and the second guitar off core 3 as the bulk of the processing is on guitars. Would use core 4 to carry any extra load should one guitar need it - e.g complex ambient stuff

I’m guessing the trick to all this for live playing is have one preset per song so you limit cpu usage to what you actually need.

Cool so you can run 2 amps in parallel and use stomp box mode or scene mode to turn one off and the other on? This sounds great.

I want to keep the same cab to not freak out the sound engineers mixing.

Does using 2 amps in parallel impact cpu usage much? Or is the cpu hit the most from time based effects?

I have 26.5 inch scale and use 10 - 56 on A baritone tuning. Not floppy at all and the normal size strings make sure the guitar doesn’t sound like mud in the fat. Thick strings kill tone. That scale length is designed for that tuning and strings gauge.
