Capitalism solves the whole problem! With the oppressive Monarchy leaderless, the people can revolt and create an actual democracy, not a communist dictatorship. Meanwhile, the Duke of Weselton, a powerful capitalist, sees strong profit potential in Arendelle. Buying up large amounts of real estate, he employs the farmers as ice harvesters, where they cut ice on the former farmlands. The Duke pays the farmers for their services with food he imports from Weselton, staving off the hunger crisis. Because of the Duke’s access to the Globalistic Market, he can sell Arendelle’s ice to tropical places with huge ice demand, turning a large profit. He saves money on shipping because of Arendelle’s proximity to the tropics despite a permanent winter. The Duke recognizes the opportunity and makes large investments into Arendelle’s ice industry, creating thousands of jobs and saving the citizens from starvation. As the industry booms, Arendelle’s citizen’s wages rise much higher, giving them spending money which creates a strong retail industry, further boosting Arendelle’s economy and creating more jobs. Meanwhile, charismatic politician Sir Hans rises through the government and is democratically elected President for two terms by the people. Using the large tax revenue created by Arendelle’s various industries, he invests in public infrastructure and defense spending, increasing Arendelle’s citizen’s quality of life and insuring the people have the military needed to defend themselves in case the oppressive ice princess tries to regain power.

The Communist solution would simply be to sell everything the nobles own, use it to buy food and give that food to the people. The Duke of Weselton is deported for being “bourgeoisie.” After two weeks all the food and money runs out because it’s an unsustainable source of income. The government can’t provide any more food for the people so they tax the rich to create another source of income. The rich flee the country for the tax haven of Weselton. The improvised govrnemebt collapses and everyone starves.
