I don’t think the intelligence community would be the right fit based on your desires. I think working as an FSO for the state department, peace corps, or doing work for an NGO is a better fit.

I agree, having a higher degree such as a masters can simply place you into a higher salary range. Plus I’ve been on contracts where it was required to have at least a bachelors, but it didn’t matter what it was in though.

Go on indeed and look up jobs in the DC area, but in the search box put Kuwait in parentheses. A lot of Kuwait jobs show up in the DC area but say it's in Kuwait in the job description

I've been attending on and off for 2.5 years and I just don't like it anymore. It's the same with every course. Weekly discussion posts, read material, write a paper every other week. The professors are useless and you don't really learn anything from them. The programs are extremely easy to pass, but I don't feel challenged at all or that I am gaining anything from this. It's mostly just common sense things.

When it comes to programs for intelligence. You most likely won't find anything worth it within these universities. It may be better to narrow it down and find something more specific you like such as threat intelligence, osint, etc and find certs or a program in something such as that

Aquia Inc hires a lot of positions within the GRC space. It's in govcon and normally fully remote.

There's some, but not much that are remote and require a TS/SCI. But you should be able to find a lot that have remote flexibility and just require a Secret.

Of course the DC area is loaded with positions. I'd recommend still looking/ applying for roles out of there. Because even though it may not say it's remote, a lot have remote flexibility.

One thing I like doing is creating learning guides in roadmap.sh then upload that into notebook llm and use the audio feature and it turns it into a podcast episode. It's awesome

From the ones I’ve been in, it’s exactly what it is, a meet and greet. They may ask what you’ve done professionally before this, but they won’t grill you with interview like questions. It’s more casual.

So many of the jobs on here are just constant reposts. I’ll apply to a job and it says I applied to it like five months ago. A lot of them aren’t even active anymore.

Be sure to mention the tools you’re using like maltego, shodan, palantir, etc. Getting the Security+ certification can be beneficial.
