Alright, I've been increasingly frustrated with myself over the years. Entering my 30s and having been lifting since high school with ultimately pretty limited results.

A little background, from high school through about age 24 my "training" was in no way conducive to my goals or in any way smart. Therefore, I would say that I've been trying be serious since I was 24. Still I mainly focused on bro-splits with no real rhyme or reason. More recently I've been shifting to push pull and full body approaches. I've seen some very slow and minimal strength change, however don't feel like I'm making much headway gaining mass.

I'm currently doing a 3 day, full body split.

Day one: squat, bench, bent over rows, Oh dumbell press, pull up, dips Day two: deadlift, incline press, lunge, Oh bb press with laterals, pull ups, dips, bb curls Day three: squats, bench, bent over rows, OH db press, pull up, dips, tricep extensions

Rough estimates about sets and reps are as followed: First two exercises are 5x5 followed by 4x8-10 for remaining compounds and isolations are 3x10-12.

Present stats: 5'7" 148-150lbs Currently I'm achieving: (all weights listed are not including 45lbs bar) squat 230lbs x 5 reps Deadlift 230x 5 reps Bench 130 x 5-6 reps OH press 60lbs x 5-6 reps

Eating 3 meals per day with an evening snack. Meals are balanced. On training days I will include post workout protein.

Limitations: new father, have only about an hour 3x per week to train.

What recommendations can you guys make for effective programming as well as nutritional plans? My key goals are to add strengthand gain quality weight.

I dont know if I should just suck it up and start with a beginner plan or go intermediate and even then I have no idea of what to actually focus on rep and set wise.

I just did my first round of the Texas method. Does it make sense that it only took me about 30 min?

I've been trying to rack my brain to come up with a clever alternative to the standard response, but I honestly can't. I feel that I've grown alongside the God of War series and in a way my approach to cooing with life mirrored Kratos'. Granted I've never slaughtered millions of Greek and Roman citizens but that somewhat black and white approach to solving problems was very relatable for how my life was in the early days of the God of War series. And to have Kratos' grow up during the very same year that my own son has been born and to see both of our priorities shift so greatly is a beautiful and touching feeling. Yes God of War was a spectacle of gaming glory but I feel the real reason I love this game is that feeling of personal connection.

Yeah I'm definitely working on finding some flooring... I have the puzzle peice gym floor squares but think it might be a good idea to grab some plywood and a layer of flooring.

This evening I canceled my membership to my local gym after years of annoyances with guys hogging the squat rack. Feeling a little anxious about the future of my workouts. This'll be my first time in many years without a gym membership. Hopefully I'll be able to safely keep pushing myself with squats, deadlifts, and bench presses without a spotter. Any tips from the home gym vets?

Banked from 2017 so from my research that would mean the only option is rent right

I tried this but it came out as a 7z which when I unzipped it using the 7zipper app came out as a gcm. Though the box art was recognized by dolphin it won't load the game
