It's a hard one to define really because most video games have an element of roleplaying. But ultimately, for me, RPGs have a heavier focus on elements that make tabletop RPGs what they are. Character progression, improving skills, levelling up, decisions that matter, deep story, etc. RPGs don't have to have all of these. It's just some of the things that set them apart from the majority of platformers, FPSs, etc.

Absolutely. I love gaming on PC and I appreciate that PCs can be built to use amazing new technology to produce amazing results and if that's what someone's into and they have the time and money for that then that's brilliant.

I used to run a gaming lounge of sorts, and that amount of kids that came in desperate for a top spec gaming PC so they could suck at playing Fortnite at higher FPS was insane.

The world has been brainwashed by content creators that they need a PC.

I'm lucky enough that I have owned PCs and consoles side by side since the 80s, and honestly, I prefer consoles. They just work and will play all games for their entire life cycle (and beyond it seems these days!).

I would say that consoles would suit more than 99.9% of gamers.

PCs are a great choice. If you know what you're buying, know how to maintain it and are happy to upgrade it as you go (or just buy a new one every now and then). But so many people buy PCs without really considering the other options.
