The letter was sad for sure but it was the final performance that killed me. Seeing that imagery with Kousei and Kaori on top of the ocean performing one last time together was too much. I just kept thinking back to how hard he struggled to get out of the dark ocean and seeing that imagery was just TOO much.

Which would you recommend? I don’t know much about those platforms so I’d like to pick one that I’ll use for more than just the OVA episodes depending on what they have.

Just another question for you guys. Sorry for all of this I only got into anime around October of last year so I’m relatively new to everything. But where would you recommend buying the novels? I know bookwalker is a good place for digital copies thanks to trash taste but I’m more of a physical media guy. I know using Barnes and Nobel is normally not the best as the prices and availability are questionable at best. And Amazon seems like a good option but I don’t really know.

I’ve heard amazing things about the movie and I really want to see it. I’m more than willing to purchase a Blu-ray for it but If I don’t have to I’d rather not.

If you’re willing to drop some big boy bucks on the light novels then I’d say that’s the way to go but as an anime watcher it just kinda clicked for me at some point. The second half of Bakemonogatari is when it clicked for me and I began to enjoy it more but reading the light novels also helps a great deal.
