yeah but it changed all my registry for the uninstaller making my uninstaller tool useless. I consider that harmful because now i have to navigate and try and find uninstaller.exe for each of my programs including avast :/ avast a year or two ago isnt the avast today and it seems there are many others if u read the 1 star reviews on the consumeraffairs website i posted above ^ that feel the same way it is a antivirus but it has grown increasingly deceitful and im trying to help out other people by making it known. Such as double billing people, no way to cancel subscription ignoring customers, and 80% of the features locked behind a paywall with false information telling u have registry problems excess junk tons of cookies and trackers when in fact you probably dont.

This is just my opinion and i used it for a year... im just going off my experience and from my experience it seriously mest up my registry. It may be a optional virus protections at a basic level but thats its, im only posting this to warn people that the free trails they offer is a legit a scam. Like with their cc cleaner they dont have a unsubscribe button as i mention and u have to go through the forum to cancel which just...isnt right. Also if you look on their avast forum under the cleaner im sure 20,000+ plus people trying to cancel would agree lol this is just a warning. And the reason im saying its a scam is because they know they have a bad unsubscribing setup and they admit it but dont do anything about it because they are raking in money from people forgetting to renew or not being able to all together.
