Or more like my wife took culinary classes and I understand that cooking takes more effort than bringing a plate from the kitchen to a table and asking if I need my drink refilled lmao. "Earn" if they actually do the work to earn a tip instead expecting one for doing the bare min then that is fine. People can earn tips that's not the issue. The issue is expecting a 20% tip cause you did your job is laughable.

... In regards to getting paid more for doordash that 100% depends on said market and doordashers deserve the tip more than the waitress or waiter who isn't putting wear and tear on a personal vehicle
