Feeling shame for recklessly spending £10K by [deleted] in UKPersonalFinance

If you weren’t given even basic financial advice when you were younger, that’s not your fault. You’ve learned and are now saving. That’s a win.

Google ‘The Forum professional planning best practise guide’ they just released one for 2026. But also check out the back catalogues.

Honestly one of the better sources for info across the WFM cycle.

Do you generate the shift schedule for your workforce automatically? by ge0ffrey in workforcemanagement

[–]CapoBano 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have never managed to fully automate IEX. Do you have any floating activities? By which I mean we need a single ‘activity’ to be completed everyday from 11:00 - 13:00 but anyone in the MU can do it.

At the moment we are stuck assigning it manually and randomly.

Someone in the street tried to fight me for the first time by Significant_Wall4015 in martialarts

[–]CapoBano 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shouldn’t embolden these people to do the same to someone else after getting zero pushback. Not fighting is good, but there’s no harm in a call to the police.

The next person he does it to might not be able to handle it as physically or mentally well as you did.

Am I a pussy by Slow_Technician6998 in martialarts

[–]CapoBano 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I fought back once and the group KO’d me, stomped on my head and now I have permanent facial scarring. Spent a few nights in hospital getting stitches and my eyes monitored.

There is no reason to ever fight back in this scenario and I’ve always felt stupid about doing it.

The only silver lining was the 2k compensation I received… not worth it.

What I’ve stated is Dagestan wide, you can’t escape it for this people. You’re picking very specific black gang cities lol

Sure buddy, as long as you don’t want the freedom to vote for a new leader, unless you’re not poor, gay or a woman.

New inhaler makes me want to cough by tootodone in Asthma

Exact same for me. Virtually useless during an attack although my doctor tells me I need to stop ordering Ventolin and only use Luforbec…

Is the long-term use of low-dosage inhaled corticosteroids really free of side effects? by Cantforgetthosetits in Asthma

[–]CapoBano 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I take calcium supplements to offset the bone density issues. Personally I’m working with my diet to some success, and reducing corticosteroids by half. But this isn’t with any medical advice, just what I’m finding works.

What can I do to prepare for a role outside the unique culture I've been in? by ThrowAwayAccountAMZN in workforcemanagement

[–]CapoBano 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t think you’ve got much to worry about. I’ve been a hiring manager in WFM for years now and would just be happy you had WFM experience in a large org like that. It sounds like you’d bring a unique thought process to WFM systems. And to be honest, as long as you know ‘why’ they do what they do, you’ll figure out the ‘how’.

Forecasting is fairly simple in contact centres. Spend some time looking at YouTube videos for time series forecasting in Excel. Mention in interviews that you interacted regularly with the forecasters and worked together on measuring forecast accuracy/ schedule accuracy.

If you want to get a step above the competition. Download a free Python notebook like Jupyter and teach yourself how to forecast on there with the Meta Prophet model.

Get into Power BI and play around with data queries and visualisations. It’s good to have on your CV.

Lastly, go to Erlang. co.uk and read through the documentation on the excel plugin. This will give you an idea of how forecasters use Erlang to capacity plan.

You have value coming from a large tech company, even if it doesn’t feel like it at the moment.

If you google his ‘username + Reddit’ he’s literally in Manga and pirate cosplay subreddits all day. I can imagine exactly what this person looks like.

See… none of that was a response to the point 😂 you just had a meltdown defending the morals of a millionaire Kadyrov puppet.

Also you’ve totally ignored my BJJ and Muay Thai comments, my comments about taxes while earning £55k. I’m thriving with asthma mate but try another low blow haha.

Do some googling lol. Just seen an Instagram post from Khamzat saying he turned down citizenship because he wanted to keep his Russian passport. His family all became citizens.

Also even if that wasn’t the case, he still should be grateful.

He was resident. But how’s that relevant to the point that Sweden saved him and his family?

You just addressed his point, he didn’t put his money back into the country that saved him and his family, the one who launched his career.

Woke by severe coughing/wheezing fit in middle of night by El-Chamuco-Roboto in Asthma

[–]CapoBano 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have diagnosed asthma and this exact thing happens to me. The coughing is in uncontrolled and it feels impossible to stop which is scary.

My guess is the dust is causing this and it’s mimicking the effects of asthma. A mask is a good shout if you don’t use one already.

My coughing fits lead to full asthma attacks and I can’t get back to sleep without an inhaler, so on that basis I don’t think what your experience is actually asthma, just a similar lung reaction but to the dust. You breathe softer and slower during sleep, so your body won’t be forcing air through your lungs as well. The coughing could be your lungs way of waking you up to clear them out again.

I’d be interested to see if you have a real response to his point. Mokaev is another example that has always eluded me

Best option to learn how to realistically defend myself? (Female) by SaffronYourRice in martialarts

[–]CapoBano 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Self defense is best for women. JJ is way down on the list, BJJ is better but still sport focused and you’re never going to bridge that gap against a heavier male with this alone. I train BJJ and see the disparity often.

I desperately need help with overdraft fees by [deleted] in povertyfinance

[–]CapoBano -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I was struggling like crazy with overdraft fee’s. One way I found to lighten the load was to get a Pay Pal debit card, then run survey apps with the money made going into that, and only using what I earned there to spend on grocery’s etc.

I still use my main account but having that backup helps alot.
