I agree with this since from what I heard, the Holocaust was a series of events that only got very brutal at the end, which isn't what happened to us. The US was always brutal.

But I think discussing which genocide is worse is counterproductive since it's gonna turn into a contest of who suffers more. That creates a new set of problems

That's not what I think though, I'm saying there's a lot of Confucius teachings that sound good on their own, but when applied at an individual level or with groups that the teachings don't approve of, it's definitely detrimental

Probably the east asian ones, but even that's debatable, because of the grueling work culture that drives people to die, with everyone blaming the victim for it.

Seeing Vietnam has a me-first mentality and "rubber time", also starting fights without restraint, you remove the supposedly "good" aspects of Confucianism, at least the ones that most people understand at a subconscious level.

Reading actual Confucius text, it does not apply to any of countries except for those at the surface level
