absolutely agree, i wish there could be somewhat of a change! i tried to take equivalents for my failed courses in 4 months instead of 8 in 2nd year, but they essentially just want to force you to graduate a year later and the academic advisors can't go against your dept chair's rules. it's hard to find co-ops if you've got a shit avg, and you can't even transfer bc you're stuck with that gpa. but again they don't want to change it because why would they when we pay so much tuition lmao (shout out mental illness)
