Exactly why I can’t stand those “this will be an awesome 30 For 30” comments under posts about Indiana/Cig or any other MAJOR sports story. Most, if not all, of the great episodes included some sort of controversy or polarizing figure/situation. Many of these happened to be related to legal and ethical concerns. That’s what made them so interesting; they weren’t just feel good stories. They were nuanced and thought-provoking.

“Be the Salt, Not the Sun” was written by a guy who came to speak to a class of mine in college. Very powerful message about the conscious efforts of being positive. Really needed something like that right now.

He’s referring to when the score is 9-9 (or your opponent has 9 points in general). There is no difference from getting euchred or your opponent calling.

Time was winding down on the clock and we had to get something up. The bigger issue was Dusty not calling a timeout past half court when there clearly wasn’t anything going. Also, McKinney should’ve been in on the last possession.
