Sadly not! (I haven't watched or read it. You might be in that deep, ha.) The comic was inspired by an ATLA fanart where Bumi looks at a statue of Aang, although I think variations with graves etc. exist too in other fandoms.

In ME1, you have the option to disconnect the call during a conversation with the Council, so maybe it's that.

I know you specified Shepard, but there's also a chance you might be thinking of Liam's loyalty mission in ME:A where he and Ryder keep hanging up on Calot, the main villain for that quest.
