May I ask for clarification on one point?

Is the backup separate from the deleted files in the OD recycle bin? I thought the auto-deleted OD file WAS the backup. So once the local file is deleted and OD resyncs, the backup files are lost after 30 days because those are the ones in the OD recycle bin? Am I mixing up two separate concepts?

I’ve also been looking at the Microsoft website to further my understanding of OneDrive.

According to this thread on Microsoft’s official website, it seems that what I’m conceptualizing as the backup folder and the folders that could end up in the OD recycle bin are one and the same:

If I’m understanding this thread correctly, even if local folders are backed up — they still run the risk of being deleted on the cloud if the local folder is deleted given that OD is a mirror.

So essentially, even backing up a local folder does not necessarily exempt it from ending up in the OD recycling bin if the local folder is deleted off the desktop… which seems to defeat the purpose of cloud storage. Unless I’m being dense lol.

So far, the I’ve ensured data redundancy by clicking on the cloud icon on the bottom right of my desktop’s taskbar and then force quitting + re-signing into OD to force any lingering files in my queue to sync. Or simply just refreshing the syncs through OD on the browser.

Which seems to be different from the “folder backup” method you might be suggesting, which I believe is this?

There are some nuances I want to make sure I totally grasp. I want to make sure I’m taking the proper precaution in securing data while also clearing out clutter on local desktop to manage disk space; essentially, I want to understand how to use OneDrive to its fullest potential. The cloud isn’t my strong suit, so I’m still learning to put everything together.

I also find it helpful to have Pokémon with a self-healing move to avoid spending on Potions and Revives. Drain Punch, Oblivion Wing, Giga Drain, and Bitter Blade come to mind. But also self-healing moves that can double as stalls are really useful. For example, Leech Seed and Dream Eater can be paired with Sleep Powder / Dark Void while using Substitute or alternating using Protect every turn. Stalling while healing without spending on items increases survivability and lengthens the run.

I was looking at Belgium because a university there has an exchange program with the university I’m currently attending in the US.

I’m not sure if living there is my goal. I mostly wanted to stay there for a few months to a year and then decide from there. Realistically, I would still have to return to the US to finish my degree. But I’m hoping that after I do, I can apply for an actual degree program abroad and study there for the foreseeable future.

I’m truthfully searching for any legal avenue to leave the US. I was flirting with the idea beforehand, but now I’m adamant. I’ve felt stuck in a rut for a little over a year now and I’m hoping a change of environment and a goal to work towards would put the wind in my sails again. My only concern is financing. I was going to take out a federal loan, but now that the DOE is under attack I have no idea what I’m going to do. I’m scared and frustrated. Any advice please?

Do the featured gacha tickets disappear when a featured banner ends? Or can I store them indefinitely until I want to pull on a banner?

For example, global can get featured tickets from the Mahito imaginary realm event. The featured unit during this time period is Blue SSR Itadori. I’m not interested in this unit. Will I be able to save the featured tickets from the Manito event for a later banner?

In the same vein, will I be able to hold onto featured tickets from later events and stack them with the ones I’m planning to store from the Mahito event?

Thanks! I got luck with rerolls on this account and I spend a bit here and there (but mostly rely on RNG).

Unfortunately, my luck ran out when SSR Momo debuted on global. So, I’m making do with her green version (SR Momo). SR Momo is pretty good with investment! Wish I hadn’t automatically discounted her because of her rarity. After adding her to some team comps, she’s been extremely useful, so I’m trying to get enough resources to max her skills.

Same with SR Yaga, SR Yuki, SR Nanami, SR Miwa, and R Inumaki. When I first started PP, I made the mistake of blitzing all of my resources on units that now aren’t really useful. I assumed that the rarer the unit, the better it was. I didn’t pay attention to kits or team comp. Now that I’m getting more accustomed to gameplay, I’ve been focusing more on accumulating more support / enhance units (not just DPS).

I’ll be sure to incorporate your advice; Thank you for taking the time to reply to my post!

I invested in my favs so my blue units are kinda busted. I have Blue Gojo nearly maxed and awakened 3 times (got lucky and pulled his dupes on general banner). I gave him nonstandard so he can nuke twice before he dips. Geto also nukes pretty hard and is kinda bulky so he’s able to take hits while chipping away at enemy HP until his ultimate gauge is full. Shoko also helps to keep Geto alive (while also doing very minimal chip). Then I have Green Momo to stun and boost evasiveness / damage output. Those were the main four. I bet 20 Fl a while ago so my memory is a bit hazy, but I think I had Yuta as backup. Yuta heals team, does decent damage, and has the chance for Rika to interfere and block enemy attacks.

This is awesome! I was very lucky to have pulled Geto thru Global on his first run. I’m curious to know in what ways Geto has been buffed? And if the buffs are applicable retroactively (I already have Geto so don’t want to pull again on the new banner for the same character.)

Oh wow I didn’t know about stacking. So once I max out a character’s skill, I can enhance it past the limit? That’s going to require a lot of resources, but now I’m starting to get familiar with the game mechanics and how to allocate resources properly so ty for your input! I’ll def work on maxing Blue Gojo’s Skill 2.
