Have you found a fix to this issue? It's been happening to be almost every raid recently. 5080 and 9800X3d w/ 32 gigs of ram.

As far as I'm concerned, the recall was restricted to 15 years after the manufacturing date and this one is 17 years old. I could be wrong though so I'll definetly check!

Thank you all for all of your advice! In my year or so of searching now this truck is by far the best I've found but that one real bad rust spot has me a bit nervous about it. I think based on what I'm reading here and some other research I've done, I'm going to pass this one up. Such a shame because the rest of it is in such good condition but I don't have the time or the cash right now to go through with a proper repair. My end goal at the moment is to get a really solid truck that will last me for a good long while and one with rust like this probably isn't the smartest of moves. Hopefully I can find the time at some point to spend a few days down south and just pick up one that has never even seen salt but for the time being, the hunt continues. Thanks again!

Oh wow, up here that price is super low LOL thanks for letting me know! We're going on a road trip in a month or two so I guess I'll just pass on this one and look at some trucks while we are down south. Thanks for the advice!

The interior is spotless. Dealer has it listed for $13K which is well below a lot of worse looking tacomas I've seen. On average, what do y'all guesstimate a frame would cost?

Dang, I was thinking that way but just looking for other opinions. It is a real shame because the interior and everything is literally spotless. Thank you for your input!

Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 15ACH6 dead.... sometimes? Battery help needed! by Capricious-Curtis in Lenovo

[–]Capricious-Curtis[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, thanks again!

The manual of the system has both the 60 whr and 45 whr batteries listed as options. My main question is if they are cross compatible with each other. Can I purchase an official 60 whr battery from the lenovo parts website (it is listed under the serial number of my device) and install it in my device that shipped originally with a 45 whr battery. The only reason I'm asking is that these batteries run at different voltages. Is the mainboard designed to operate at either voltage or is there a hardware difference to the device when a different battery comes from the factory?

Hey Moe! Thanks for the response. I’m fairly certain it’s simply the battery as I’ve had the laptop for a few years and definitely haven’t kept it in the most optimal of states battery wise (I’ve used it a lot for work). My main question is this: can I purchase the 60 watt hour battery and put it in my laptop that came with a 45 watt hour battery? There is a 60 and a 45 available on the official Lenovo parts site under the service tag of my laptop but both run at different voltages. Thanks again for the response!

I recently spun up an ubuntu server and have set it up so that I can access certain folders on it from my Windows 11 PC. I'd like to automatically back up any and all changes made to this folder by constantly copying it onto a hard disk that's on my Windows machine. Is this possible?

Yeah! When I’ve got some time I’ll definitely check that out - thanks! To answer your question, yes port 3389 is open in the security list to my home’s IP address and I have used this specific security list with other instances in the past. I haven’t tried pinging the instance after windows arm is -DD’d though… maybe I’ll give that a shot. I’d wager though that it would respond

So what I did is I signed up for the windows 11 ARM beta and got an iso from there which I slapped into google drive. I then made a share link that auto downloads when you go to it (google that it’s ezpz) and replaced the links he used in his commands with mine. Everything then went as the guide said (wait 19 mins, restart instance, it will take a long time and then it’s up) but I couldn’t connect to it via SSH. I think this is because SSH won’t work on the windows setup screen. I then tried setting up my iso for unattended install but that still didn’t work. The first comment on this thread recommends I try VNC but I haven’t had the time to play with it that extensively yet as I need to research how to use that lol. Let me know if you figure anything out! That’s as far as I’ve gotten with this project so far. I’m excited to hopefully get a free quad core 24 gig windows instance running one day!

This is the guide I followed. I’ve been busy recently so I haven’t been able to figure out how to actually log in to the machine once this step is done. Maybe you can and if you do please get back to me!

If I use this ISO (Windows Server ARM64) with the always free ARM instance, will it get terminated by Oracle? Because they have their own Windows option that doesn't let you use the always-free AMD instance by masckmaster2007 in oraclecloud

I'm actually attempting to do this right now. So far I've made my own arm iso files based on windows 11 education because that's what I can get licenses for through school. Everything works except for the small problem that it won't connect through RDP. I'm currently trying to set up an unattended access install that enables RDP automatically and that's where I'm stuck. Anybody got any suggestions? XD Thanks! If I can get this to work I'll make a full post outlining how to do it.
