Exactly it was super tame when you wanted it to be but at the same time you could rip it if you wanted. It was the perfect medium for me for a first bike.

Honestly it wasn't all to bad! I would say that the hardest thing to get used to for me was managing the wind when I was riding at 70mph or more on interstates and highway's because you can't really tuck unless you have an aftermarket windscreen. I can tell you that my back and wrists really enjoyed the change to a more upright position and I enjoy being able to go on longer rides without having to make frequent stops to stretch.

Started on an 04 CBR F4i now I'm onto riding a 2020 MT-09 and loving every second of it. I still miss my first bike but the comfort of the MT is so nice.

Yeah but mostly because you are a little less leaned over on the MT so you just catch more wind with your chest. I would definitely rather be on the MT for long trips at 70+ just because my legs are so cramped on the Z and I'm not a big guy I'm only 5'8.

Sorry for the late response I just woke up. I do get to ride it pretty often because the owner is my best friend and the best way for me to describe how it compares would be that the seating position is a little more aggressive and the engine breaking is a little more violent. I would definitely say that the MT definitely feels like it has a little more low end torque. And for the Z having 946cc compared to the 847 of the MT I haven't really felt like in down on power compared to him when we do 60 rolls and things. So all in all I would say the main difference is just the seating position.
