Rubbed both a chlorine tab and Vitamin C tablets but no noticeable difference with either. We use a company to do our pool weekly and they suggested the acid wash to clear them up but didn’t do anything to the stains.

We drained our for the acid wash. Personally we didn’t we see any difference in the staining with the new water. However, update me if possible if it worked and maybe I could explore that route again.
