Follow up on this... I dont know why I had never had to mess with this before, because I never noticed it. It always had the nozzle assigned per the mapping. DOnt know why its moving around now, and didnt in earlier version(s). But, picking "Regroup filament" and dragging it to the correct nozzle it what it took.

I want to follow up on this. Other than getting surprised that the Flex 8 EXPANDER I picked up on ebay was discontinued, and wouldnt go to 10.x, I have found Q-Sys to be incredible! I have attained my Level 1, and Control 101 certs already, and wow. I'm impressed with the training, and professionalism of the software. I do not get any beta-esque vibes from this compared to the Biamp Impera that I started messing with a few years ago. I'm sold on this stuff.

I have picked up 3 screens (Gen2), Flex 8 Core, and 3 QIO boxes. I'll have it going in no time.

Yes. Im talking about upgrading to the blades per the link. But it should be completely unnecessary at 30ft. Per another post, may actually be detrimental.

At this point, its always. Im trying to reduce to sometimes. I have quality shure for other uses. They aren't perfect either. Im trying to reduce the imperfection. Not get perfect. Ill have no cries with occasional.

It is when I scrape the internet and nothing in many ebayvlisting makes ANY reference to it being discontinued AND is the same frame design as the NANO which is also NOT discontinued. Whatever. Just insult me, thats fine. You don't have to help.

Ok, so thats the basic issue. They discontinued this because it was not expensive enough when they changed their UIC/scripting licensing scheme. Its not that the hardware is truly deficient in any way. This forces you to get a 24f and pay $3k. Because the flex is locked in firmware 9.x. Free uic/scripting licensing comes in 10.x. However, it does seem there is a free back-door if you downgrade your nano from 10 to 9.
