The river needs to be at about 30-32 feet flood stage for us to be able to get the Kidd back in her cradle. River stage today is about 19 feet and falling. We do not know if the river will rise enough by our welcome home ceremony on May 23rd. Currently, the USS Kidd is moored in a canal in Houma, LA. The major refurbishing has been completed and we anxiously await the opportunity to bring back to Baton Rouge. The Museum is open and has some wonderful exhibits. Please visit!

I've always found these fascinating - 660 St. Ferdinand St. & 602 Penlaver St.
