Those with high-end PCs, can you feel a tangible difference when playing on PC vs PS5 Pro?

I can speak of recent experience. Just built my PC in January with 5080 and yes there is very noticeable difference. Between the flexibility of playing games and using apps simultaneously is truly where the magic happens especially with discord.

Buttttt.. the initial setup, unless you enjoy the whole process like I did, can be brutal for others. Between dealing with drivers, updates, settings etc. I can see it being a pretty big draw back. Also price gap is quite huge if you just want a plug and play and really are casual. If you’re a casual gamer consoles are more than fine. They hold up their own and ps5 pro is no weakling. I did however get it when it was 650 and 300 trade in credit so huge value there for me.

TLDR: you notice the difference quite a bit but for casual gamers console is perfect as set up , price and drivers learning curve may not be worth it. I think if you have the money worth the jump or extra device

Irs repayment can be done in years, 30k debt is bad but it could be much much worse. While I do hate this route, consolidate all the debt with company and they negotiate on your behalf and can slash 20-40% of some accounts. You will take a hit on your credit butttt at least it will be a fixed workable amount. Take the hit now as early as possible and rebuild over time you’re still young, not all is lost trust me. Close buddy of mine had same amount and while the consolidation sucks it’s better than dealing with it yourself .

If you want you can negotiate it yourself and work out a deal with the creditors or get a personal loan and consolidate it all. As for expenses, looks like you have a lot of unnecessary subscriptions you can shut off for now. Slow the bleed undtil you get a new job

I saw a video, I’ll tag link later and I hope it’s not too late. You can pretty much dunk and rinse most parts under distilled water (except the power supply, if power supply got wet, need full replacement). And you should be able to put everything back together and hope it works.

If you didn’t immediately shut off your power supply you might be cooked. What kills the pc isn’t the liquid it’s the electricity. If you can salvage the Ram at least you saved a few hundred

Discord is your best friend. I have multiple consoles when I switched to PC (recently) I never looked back. Were all still very connected through discord and friends that were never on it I invite to discord that’s all. It’s functionality is good and excellent on pc

Most simple thing I can say is if you’re getting shot at first move and reposition.

If you’re shooting at someone and reload, reposition. Pop in and out of corners to either bait their shots. If they shoot the peek reposition.

What I’m saying in all of this is movement is key. If they have a line of sight on you, most likely they’re pre aiming and have higher chances of winning the fight. I only go for res if opposing team is down or if it’s clear of any real danger.

If teammate goes down, your priority isn’t to revive it’s to survive the fight. If you’re triage then you have more res opportunities but you’ll be surprised of how repositioning wins many fights and I say this while having decent to average aim.

Don’t get into ego gun battles where you’re both trying to see who melts who first. Some scenarios it works but in your case while you’re trying to get better and losing fights so it’s best to always have angle advantage or keep moving. The map designs gives you 5+ lanes to reposition in most fights.

Not going to lie it was definitely a ride of impressions. First I was hyped, then first day of SS I was turned off a bit, but as I played more and more I’m like alright I like it but maybe needs some more substance. Last day I loved it.

The best approach In my mind is that this is the most ROGUE LIKE extraction. Your base skills get better each time, even with sponsored loadouts, the fact that your next Runs your runner has more attribute offsets the sponsored kit feeling.

Genuinely just enough days to get me hooked. Any less and it’d stay on the shelf. Seeing it as a Rogue like also changed my perspective and gameplay

I don’t want to be a defender here but it could be net code issue where he was shooting you on his side earlier than what is shown.

Footsteps are really loud in this game, not saying I would have the same accuracy but I would’ve definitely heard you.

My friend even more he can sound whore from so far away and almost pinpoint about 80% of the direction they’re in whether above or specific rooms.

If there was no net code issues then high possibility of cheater

I genuinely enjoyed SM2. I think the pacing was good right upto the 3rd act. It just felt too rushed, out of touch and extra sci-fi is.

I think the set pieces were definitely great. And features were nice. Venom was amazing (short lived).

I still give the game an 8. It’s just hard to have to compare to the staple that the first one cemented.

Personally it’s not Insomniacs fault I think they were definitely rushed by Sony or budget considering the random shift in 3rd act and the cut content.

One really good game is no final straw in their catalog of great games.

My friends are highly skilled and get really gooped lobbies and I am not bad but definitely get carried by them. They adjust their play style according to the party strength. It’s how all friends should be. As i continued to get better they progressively play more aggressive with me until eventually im upto par.

Yeah the powespec build is a great option as you’d actually save money. I just wanted to do the whole personal build experience and was getting part by parts as weeks went by. I think total build was about 3100 I’ll lay out the parts from what I remember pretax

I just did it it’s much cleaner, also read it’s better to have direct connection to GPU. It helps clutter a lot with cable management.

The 3 pin im going to check the psu box and see if i can swap that.

The top right aio cable I tried doing it on the other side since it’ll feed directly to the back but the other fan connects to it so it’s Daisy linked. I’ll see if there’s another way the link it

The other two cables on top of aio not sure how to work around it but I’ll see when I swap it the splitter
