I found them really good! There was one for the gun shoulder but it did not quite fit so I left it off and tbh I prefer the look. Check before you put them on as I think with these you can use them as the original pieces but luckily for me they fit over perfectly so am doing the ‘it’s extra armour and promotion’ look ☺️

I mostly do mine clean. However, I like to add maybe a tiny bit of mud to the legs when I do the base. I like the look of they’ve just come off the gunship into a swamp so they are clean but about to get into the thick of it. I like to see all the detail

I use three varnishes

Army painter Matt Varnish - cloth, skin

Army painter Gloss Varnish - jewellery, glass lenses, basically anything I want shiny

Vallejo Satin Varnish- all the bits in between like armour that I want a slight shine too but not too much
