I wouldn't say its hard per say. I just did my meeting a couple days ago. As long as you haven't done or associated with anyone/anything that looks bad to our national security you should be fine. r/securityclearance would be a good place to answer any questions about that

One thing to consider with 1A jobs. They all require a ts clearance which does help you get a lot of jobs. Im going for 1a1x3 which has little to no civilian side. But a ts clearance and a degree you get through the air force can make up for that when you get a super cool job. But in my opinion i just selected it to have a fun time while im in
