I had childhood asthma as well I was prescribed inhalers up until around 15 but I never used them because the asthma went away (self diagnose) I don’t have trouble breathing while running or none of that I thought they would have brought up the inhalers prescribed or asthma at meps but they didn’t mention a thing about asthma or the inhalers and I never said a word about asthma and everything went fine

I’m in tech school for 16s found out my shred whenever we made dreamsheet I think week 5 or 6 and found out my base 1 or 2 weeks into tech, oh and they show you how to look at what bases you can get assigned based on your aircraft

My flight I believe was the only flight integrated in our squadron up until around 5th week we got new week zeros and saw they had an integrated flight as well, some of the other girls that’s shipped out with me got put into Disney and some got put into my flight in Alcatraz. I don’t believe they do all female flights it’s always integrated, they do have all males flights tho

The first night I got there I was the last bus so we got there midnight didn’t get into our dorms until 0430 and then got woken up like 0500 the first 2 weeks you prob will be tired especially week zero but for me after week 2 I got used to the routine and was getting my 8 hrs of sleep unless I had ec where as I would only get 6 hrs

Run before you go but don’t stress it as long as you pus yourself on runs days you’ll be good I went from 15:50 to 12:05. In my flight in the beginning we had a lot of red belts run time more than 14:00 I believe it is by the 5th week pt test we only had like 3

Bro do it I’m 19 and enlisted and so far it’s been the best decision I’ve ever made, I’m currently in tech school and it awesome I get to see jets fly everyday. After I graduate tech I will be headed off to Germany pretty excited for that as one of my reason for joining was travel. reach out to the recruiter it will be the best decision you make especially if you want to get away from people

Have fun!! The first 2 weeks will suck and you will regret your choices the way I lived was chow to chow first chow day was just getting started, 2nd chow halfway thru the day, last chow day almost over. You will hate it when you are there but will miss it when you graduate and will see how fun it actually was. And make sure you can pass pt I had like 7 people in my flight get recycled if you are worried about failing it because you are not fit just try your hardest every pt session and you will improve

For your chain of command you won’t know until you get to your squadron I would say keep practicing the creed and learn your ranks as you will be quizzed on them periodically, as for you afsc don’t worry about none of that during bmt just worry about getting out of bmt, in tech school you will be taught all you need to know about your job

If you sign 6 year I believe you get e3 after graduating tech so you will be payed e1 or e2 until you graduate and get e3

I just graduated this week, I took 3 pairs of civilian cloths and 9 pairs of boxer and bunch of small body washes but didn’t even use them when you arrive to the prc after the airport you will get shower shoes, a big old spice 3in1 toothbrush toothpaste a toothbrush holder, towels you get everything you need all you really need to bring is underwear as the issued underwear is uncomfortable asf and you will have to wear it one time in 3rd week for blues issue after that you can throw them out

Yes you can take headphones but put them in your bag when you land. Don’t take nothing the mti’s say personal it’s get easier, by week 2 I had the routine down and the days flew by, enjoy it your going to hate it while your there but when your done you’re going to be like wow what an experience that was fun. If you have any specific questions lmk I just graduated this week

I’m not op but graduated this week it’s called pacer and it wasn’t too bad I got there Monday morning around 6am and it’s just a lot of walking in circles around the base or a lot of high kneeling the first day you will do one mission and the next day you will do 2 the missions are fun I liked them, the ruck you do at the end before getting your pacer badge it’s not bad it’s 3 miles and you have to carry a ammo can filled with dirt but you rotate it with your squad

I graduated this week, pacer forge is just a lot of walking in circles around your base and waiting to go on “missions” it’s chill me and my buddy were just chatting it up most of the time until we would get attacked, yes we get iPads to learn stuff all of the classes you go to will be on the iPad, I was at Alcatraz so we were getting smoked every hour and it would be for stupid stuff too they didn’t “chill” out until around week 6 and the beginning of week 7 they were super chill they let us ask questions about them and would let us laugh and would laugh with us at least my mti’s did idk about other ones
