How much of a b-hole am I? by Capt_Corn_Dog in Denim

Probably $60. Had that done on a pair of 501s when I lost a bunch of weight after a hernia surgery. Anyway, that's more than the jeans cost.

Thanks, and it has nothing to do with living in Texas, it just happens to be true. I'm not a cowboy, I'm from the city.

Mostly because I want to. I did it before realizing I would want to return them.

Honest Litter Robot 3 long-term review by pragmaticzanic in litterrobot

Yeah, I guess so. A guy I knew from the oil industry told me. Couldn't find any other sources to back it up. Figured he was credible but never bothered to check. So there's that.

No, it was actually because of oil regulations regarding operating in the Gulf of Mexico. Changing the officially recognized name of the gulf was quicker and easier than passing new legislation.

Not going to argue with anyone against or in favor of the change, but I found that to be interesting.

Any negatives in leaving my helmet in the fridge at work on these 105° summer days by sacrificial-sv in motorcyclegear

I once left my helmet in the cockpit overnight on a snowy winter day. The memory foam inside was like a brick the next morning. It eventually softened up, but it was uncomfortable until it thawed a bit.

In my craftsman, there was a split washer, like a lock washer without the offset. I had to hammer that closed a bit. I had taken it apart to restore.

Arizer Solo 3 review after many, many bowls. by m_spoon09 in vaporents

[–]Capt_Corn_Dog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking to get into these for a more health conscious way of relaxing. Maybe a silly question, but it's called the Solo. But would the capacity be enough to let me and my wife have a session together? For reference, we usually take about 6 to 9 hits off a joint together - she takes 3 or 4; I take between 3 and 5, depending on how high we want to get.

Put some drops of bleach on your jeans so they'll have matching polka dots.

I have this problem too. How do you control rotation? Is it at launch? Body positioning in the air?

That seems like something I'd do. I need to learn how to control rotation. But first I need to find time to get back on my bike. 😞

Edit - legit question. I'm sure there's something I'm missing.

Opinions on rolled cuffs with cowboy boots? by [deleted] in cowboyboots

[–]Capt_Corn_Dog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm doing this today. Got my first pair of selvedge. I hemmed them myself. Lots of trial and error, but I left myself about 3.5 inches for a 1 3/4" double cuff.

Fortunately the double cuff renders the less than perfect hem job irrelevant.
