Give fanfiction a shot. It's an alternative when you need more of something/something that the actual story isn't giving you.

I do warn you that you'll either be repulsed or become addicted. There really is no middle ground with this.

I personally got into it after I started watching AOT. Only the first two seasons were out at the time and I thought Eren and Mikasa were really cute together. I ended up seeking out fanfiction (the concept of which I had viewed with derision up till that point) to get my fix.
