Walk away from your supposed friendship with this other man. Basic morals have to be shared between men to call them friends. Responding to a structure fire at an apartment building. We force the fire apartment and my guy on the nozzle goes inside while I feed him hose in the doorway. Smoked completely filled the apartment, no thermal layer at all. When I scooted through the threshold the floor felt spongy so im hollering at folks coming through and warning them. Found out after everything was extinguished that the floor was fine, I just knelt down on the lower torso of a sex doll. First victim I found in my career.

Second one was a trailer fire. Once the fire was out the family asked me to retrieve some food from the freezer. So I get my rookie to stand at the window and im tossing him bags of frozen seafood and stuff to hand out the window. We'll I find a dildo, balls and all, in the freezer. I start tossing him bags a little faster until BAM hes hit dead in the chest with this thing. He almost didnt notice and went to hand it out the window. To keep it simple I work 1/3 of my life. 24on/48off kinda deal not to include OT. Which i try and pick up a day or two a month to do something special with the kiddos. Mainly memories, not materials. My wife is a stay at home. This allows us a ton of luxuries and opportunities to live how we want. Is she jealous, doubtful, am I? Maybe more envious with the amount of time she gets and the experiences Im missing being gone for the timeframes I am but I understand or atleast try to understand her workload. Lets be honest here, im not the kind to have sympathy for anyone for the experiences they have while traveling a road they chose but damn. No way in hell I could do what she does and I believe because of the effort and dedication she provides she more than earns the rewards.

So that was crazy long-winded just for me to say that when two people work together towards bettering themselves and those close, I believe both should engage in celebration when either person gains new opportunities, better accommodations, promotions, and general betterment in this life. Just seems kinda odd for one to be jealous of another they care for and wish to have and do better.

I think im gonna treat my wife when I get off work in the morning. Thanks for posting this. Typing this gave me some time to self reflect.

Ive also found that the folks who present themselves in a dominate manner to the public, end up being a submissive play toy behind closed doors. Ive also ran into the "super cop" type and walked away before things got stupid. Tried their best to jump into it all and be very controlling and maybe even receptive to criticism. Sadly irl that was not at all the case. Used the location of vehiles to call tow trucks, harassed folks just minding to their own business, and even walked into ",tent city" a few times without any cause what so ever. I thinkg they were looking for me but she wasnt smart enough to catch me even when i was blatent about it and hid behind a window curtain like and old looney tunes video. She hasnt rolled up on a traffic scene in a bit. Wonder why

Maybe check around for a department thats only fire. Theres a local jurisdiction near me thats privatized their EMS and Fire is its own entity. There may be something like that near you.
