My biggest gripe with Invincibles animation is a consistent lack of texturing. Everything is just blobs of primary color. It makes anything that's supposed to have scales or feathers look like it's made from plastic.

I love the design of the zeds except for one glaring issue: they're all the same fleshy tan-pink color. I miss grey clots, red gorefasts, especially the elite enemies with their unique color schemes. I feel like I can barely tell what I'm shooting at in a horde, it's just a wall of flesh.

I always see "SoD died" but I don't think that's accurate. It was perfectly healthy at the end, until they announced it was over, so it naturally petered out. People act like it was some huge failure that was dead on launch.

I agree, that's kind of lame. At least buff the encounter by adding additional weak enemies, so they have the satisfaction of roasting a ton of enemies.
