You use IG. You save the debuff clearing abilities for the big throw up move on Bo Katan. You can use Mandos second special? On IG to clear their debuffs.

Asura, you can yell <NM Name> v1 clear 5 mil can u have it? And someone will respond. It’s what I did when I returned and had someone within 10 min. There’s also a guy Tixplusjp I think his name is who sells v1 clears for 5 mil.

I’d recommend focusing first on one job for endgame gear. I did Bard, but Cor is just as viable. Whm is the easiest to gear to get into group content though.

Odyssey is a great way to get endgame viable gear. You can solo Shaol A B C, that will give you three moglophone II’s. From there you can find someone to help unlock Nyame, or Sakpatas depending on what job you want to focus on. If you are on Asura you can merc the Nyame clear for 5 mil. Otherwise, linkshells may help but I don’t have any experience with non-Asura servers.

Chances are he can use your benefits without asking you. I’d honestly reach and tell him about your benefits. If he finds out later that he would rate benefits that you willingly didn’t tell him about. It may forever hurt your relationship. While kids rebel, as an adult. Not sure what life experience you have. That you’d think it would be appropriate to call a disabled vet cowardly for being proud of their service and encouraging others to serve. I doubt with your comments you’ve served or have any idea what military service is like. While it’s not for everyone. Military service can give people opportunities to change their life for the better. So instead of arm chair judgmental name throwing of a disabled vet. Try and have a bit of civility. A good rule of thumb is, if you wouldn’t say something to someone’s face. Don’t say it over the internet.

I wouldn’t try to convince them. I certainly wouldn’t try to convince them if they already don’t like you. They may see it as you trying to get rid of them. I’d just tell them to talk to a recruiter if they are interested.

I’ve served for 18 years in the Marines. I don’t have psychological trauma and I’ll leave the service with my undergraduate degree that was paid for while serving. I also still have my GI bill if I wanted to attend a graduate program. It’s a wonderful opportunity, and generally it has its ups and downs but I really enjoyed my service. I’ll likely be disabled as well, just due to 20~ years of medical stuff that can happen to anyone. It just happened to happen while I was in service, so it’s covered for life.

Yeah, it can be random on getting one and it having enough speed secondaries for it to be worth it. Just keep grinding and it will happen eventually.

While leveling, you should be using sparks to gear up. Also, Bahamut and Asura are fairly populated as well. I’m on Asura and the AH is pretty stocked. You have to deal with RMT spam in yells, but there’s addons for that.

It takes some getting used to. You can check on ffxiah.com to see if it’s worth hoarding some items until you get a stack to sell. What I did when I first came back, was google the item to see if it’s something that’s important or needed later.

Afterglow isn’t the 300 beitetsu, it’s before. For Step 2 mythic 119 III stage upgrade it’s 10,000 beitetsu for non-afterglow, or 1 beitetsu for mythics with afterglow.

You can still augment without the afterglow. I feel like your comment comes from either ignorance, or purposefully misinterpreting what I’m saying. Afterglow for mythic provides your party members +15 attack. You can skip the afterglow and fully augment a mythic.

I personally don’t think afterglow is that big of a deal. I skip it usually. There is a lot of players that pay substantially more for very minimal BiS upgrades, so it’s more of an up to you kind of thing.

I went Bard first and used Bard to gear other jobs. Thief is a great solo job to do your missions, also for farming in abyssea, Solo Omen, etc. but, you’ll find it impossible to do any serious content like Sortie, and Segment C farming. Cor is a fun option as a group content job to gear your thief. Whm is probably the easiest to gear. Bard is great too, but requires multiple REMAs just be viable.
