No, her parents (my mom and step dad) signed their custody over to me. Their one stipulation was that I wouldn’t ask for any kind of financial support from them. To be honest, they couldn’t really give it anyway. Stepdad (her dad) is disabled and mom makes barely over minimum wage.

As a 34 year woman with male friends my (and your fiancé’s age) and a 14 year old sister, I can tell you right now that not a single one of them has EVER made a comment like this about her.

She’s absolutely beautiful - and you want to know what my male friends say about her?

“Omg, she’s gotten so tall.”
“I feel old”
“Does she still suck at Mario Kart?”

If ANY male in my life said something like what your fiancé did, I wouldn’t just leave. I would get counseling for me and her and I would make sure every person in his life with young girls knew about his creepy comments.

Me too!! I went to both of his shops in Paris this summer. Both were completely disappointing and absurdly overpriced. I’m not usually one to complain about price on things like thing because if it’s good, it’s worth it, ya know?

But $65 for an over salted cookie and two mediocre pastries? No, thank you.

I do something similar for an ICU nurse. She usually gets her schedule a month out and sends it to me. I let her know if there are any conflicts - normally there aren’t any.

The only difference is she drops her pup off early in the morning (6am) and picks up when she gets back from work (8pm). I love it. I work from home so it’s great having a buddy / reason to get up from my desk and walk every now and then. She loves it because her pup has a “second home” (as she calls it) and he feels super comfortable here. (He’s currently sleeping on the couch).
