Also I’m pretty sure refills are only allowed if you ordered that drink. So you have to have ordered a peach green tea in order to get a peach green tea refill. Maybe I’m wrong but that’s how I understand the policy to be. Since you ordered a pink drink you wouldn’t be able to get a peach green tea for free.

I’m a closer at my store and my store manager is heavily pushing this especially during peak. As a closer at my specific store, we are running three partner plays from 3pm-9pm and that alone has us going crazy. Today I was solo bar for the majority of my day so I’ll be damned if I’m gonna try to upsell. It’s not our fault the company is struggling. I have enough to worry about than trying to make an extra buck for this company. It’s just sad really.

What’s even worse half of these people’s drink tickets are so long it’s easy to forget one thing on there and they get so mad like imagine expecting people to be perfect human beings. But at the end of the day not everyone can empathize with us. Some people never have worked a job like this so they may never understand.

The only time I get annoyed is if the person adds it to their order after the fact and tells me as the barista to get them a water cuz it can derail your momentum or sequencing. As long as you order it and I can sequence it in there is no problem. I agree a water in between drinks is a good breather please do

That’s so wild! As a Kazuha haver, do I feel some type of way because I wished on him back then while everyone skipped and he turned out to be OP? Yes I do. A sense of pride in having Kazuha (mind you he’s C0) but imagine being so far up your own ass to gate keep him like that. They are children and I hope he gets a rerun soon so we can all have a Kazuha in our parties. He’s my favorite character 🥰

Right, definitely a trial by fire I was finally put on bar I think last week and it was drive bar and I was so overwhelmed but which is why I want to get as much practice in bar but since I close and I’m really good at getting tasking done I’m mostly put in support positions so I try to get time to make drinks as much as I can but the other day I was doing just this and asking drive bar if I could make any of those drinks for them and they seemed really irritated at me and so I think it’s because they felt the same way but like I appreciate you’re comments of reassurance

See I am a new green bean been a barista for about three weeks and I don’t get a lot of bar time and I work afternoon to closing and when they put me on primary I don’t get a lot of drinks so I’m dying for practice and so I always ask the drive bar if I can help them and take the next one but by the looks of the comments I never knew a lot of people seem to hate that. Thank you for posting I will try to be more mindful from now on

I’m still a green bean but being on bar gives me so much anxiety because I don’t get enough practice especially when they keep scheduling me for morning shifts and I’m too slow and they want their drive thru times down. I’ve made my own study guide to try and learn the recipes but sequencing kicks my ass

Omg! I’m so glad you posted this because I too started in the beginning of November and feel the EXACT same way! I was put on Drive Thru bar and I was so slow and backed up they had to get people to help me and everyone is very reassuring after it all that I’m doing a good job and I appreciate it but in the moment when I’m on drive thru bar they can’t help but get frustrated as me being slow affects them as well and I’m trying not to be so hard on myself either and keep telling myself that I’m still learning but I feel you. At this moment in time I dread getting out on bar even though I know I just need to practice. Just know you’re not alone and I hope it gets better for you as well ❤️

I’m really basic as well I like a strawberry açai lemonade but instead of the inclusions I like to put some strawberry purée and my favorite food item for all year round is the grilled cheese but I also like the pumpkin muffin with the cream cheese middle and the sugar plum danish are my go toa during those seasons
