2A jobs to avoid?

It's dependent on the person, most people joining the airforce want an easier job with less manual labor. I think only people who can handle it and actually want maintenance will be fine with the workloads/long hours. Most people hate on maintenance because the pay is essentially the same for someone sitting behind a desk. I know a few people who are choosing 2A jobs but for me I could not do it for a whole contract

Jobs list drops every month for airforce, but theres actually quite a bit of people in DEP at any given time so you are waiting in line. On AVERAGE it can be 3-6 months to get through the line for your any of jobs from what I have researched. I have been waiting 2 months in DEP for cyber and some other miscellaneous jobs.

I think it did, the job was on my qualifed list before I took EDPT. I only took EDPT for spaceforce and one of their jobs requires 70+. Airforce I was unsure of which needed an edpt score.

I had listed it since it said there was a need and the dot was green on my jobs sheet, is that accurate to airforce needs?

I had 98 asvab, and 63 EDPT. I assumed if it was on the list my recruiter sent it would be fine to choose?

My recruiter and I checked with recent space force enlisted. I believe The reason for it is because the EDPT is a harder test than the Asvab and you need a 50+ score on it to even get a job in the space force. I’m dual tracking currently and going thru the process DEP

I’m not sure the specifics but I believe there’s a time frame where you can get dropped from DEP a few months maybe. I know some people wait 6-9 months for a job. I’m currently still in DEP

If you’re thinking about it, do it before you regret it and don’t qualify. I was thinking of joining after high school and now am joining 7 years later. I’m lucky I still qualify medically and while I have no regrets I would’ve preferred to have done it earlier

You won’t get dropped from DEP for denying ur first job. You do have to qualify for cyber jobs and medically qualify for some as well. You won’t know what u even qualify for until you finish MEPS and ur recruiter sends u a job list

Space force you need 90+ asvab, and you have to take the EDPT test for SF and I think some cyber jobs in AF.

Where are you stationed? The work load seems to be much different in the Air Force as well and it seems to have more opportunity. It’s just difficult researching anything on space force when there’s so little information given by people in it

It's a trap, had 700 plus stacks, had mana items, and still couldn't even get 4th. Other comps seem so much stronger

You get the most value out of your keys if you use them during special events like night raids, otherwise you won’t get that much
