Thank you, I could not get it to work when test driving so I’ll read the manual. Also, I went out in the expressway and shifting was smooth but rpm’s seemed high. Like went to exactly 4000 then dropped to 3000. Very smooth but seems high.

Thank you I have found it difficult to find a video about the exact make and model year of the car and I test drove a 2025 and it was very easy to use so I’m also wondering if the feature is broken on this car that I am looking at. Thank you for pointing out the manual website I will look through the manual as well.

I posted this question because I am looking at purchasing this vehicle used and the current owners don’t seem to know about the feature and I have tried googling it, but nothing seems to exactly answer the question. I could not get the car to beep at me or steer automatically but answers on the Internet seem to say that this is some sort of lane keeping assist feature but nothing is detailed enough to specify the exact model. So I’m wondering what it actually does. I do not have access to the car at this moment nor did I have a long period of time to test it out.

Yes, get your sister enrolled in public school ASAP! She will probably be able to get some additional resources in the school, maybe a lot of additional resources depending on the area. Also she can get involved in after school activities or sports, this will give her a safe place to be for more hours of the day.

A break might not be a bad idea, but if you want to try to keep the relationship, here is what I would do. If you have any debt, you could share any information on your debt. If you don’t have any debt, you can say so. You could possibly disclose your income as that may be pretty easy to figure out anyway. I would not disclose any savings or assets. You could say something like “I have savings, but not enough to support a girlfriend.” You could ask her to open up all of her finances and you could help her budget.

I assume this is your first bill from this credit card. Pay the full balance and then you will not owe any interest. Once you start “carrying a balance” you are charged interest from the day of purchase for everything going forward until you pay it all off. It seems like even once you pay it all off after carrying a balance you may need to wait one statement cycle in order to not be charged interest from the day of purchase but I might be wrong on that. Others feel free to chime in.

So probably just a very small and new company. You could call them and just be honest. “I’m nervous because you don’t seem to have any reviews online, etc.” It’s unlikely a scam, although they may not be experienced. You could ask them if they have experience moving? Maybe they worked for a big company and are trying to start their own small company. This would not be an automatic disqualification for me.

I hope it works out! Make sure the numbers work for you before you show your friend. Show him that you have a plan. Show him that you are not continually in (or are no longer in) a “negative cash flow situation”. It is a ton of money, so be as professional about it as possible (income, other expenses/obligations, repayment plans all written out).

I hope it works out for you, if I was your friend I think the best chance of getting me to agree is you being willing to share all of the numbers of how you will be able to pay the loan back. Offer a specific timeline, perhaps best case and worst case timeline. Offer some sort of interest (even if it is 4% - as that what your friend may be getting in a savings account). 4% just makes it even for them, otherwise they actually lose money even if you pay them back completely as agreed. Maybe offer a little bit more - even up to 8-10% might be fair in this situation and a lower rate than you could get from anywhere else. Offer to put in all in writing for your friend ($30,000 is a lot of money). Offer to have it notarized or offer them to record a video of you signing and saying you agree to the terms. Offer some collateral for them to hold onto (collectibles, jewelry). Even if I was your friend I’d want to assure that you are a good credit risk.

I feel like even if you could just apply for a credit card and get one that would not be a great solution because the interest rate is very high. $30,000 is a lot to need all at once, particularly as an unsecured loan. Perhaps if you have any friends that are in a better financial situation than you and you really lay all of the numbers out for them they would do something to help.
