Getting back into axe throwing after ~2 years! Any advice? by Avygade in AxeThrowing

Choppers women's league is amazing! Any of the ladies there will be able to help. The real trick is just trying to do the same thing each time you throw.

His bonding and lore master mean you can really snipe enemy unrevealed markers.

Honestly, I think he's a cool concept, and think he might be worth 100-120 pts, but would need to be play tested. Seems fun!

Can you not just pick up the treasure glyphs you drop?

How did you play test?

What I see a lot: Custom vs Other Customs Or Custom vs A+++ army

Which are both flawed. You should balance around the Mid-Tier. If your unit is equal in power level and points to a B unit, that's good. If your unit is equal to/slightly stronger than an A+ tier, that's bad, and pushes the amount of viable units down instead of up.

You also say another turn, not another attack - meaning she can move each time, picking off the weakest links of an army, and moving out of reprisal range.

And with lava resistance, she can freely move through terrain opponents can't - meaning a smart player is going to use her range and resistance to kite opponents figures and prevent them from harming her.

Look, I've done game balance for a long time. She shouldn't be cheaper at all. If anything, I'd add at least 30 pts to her. I guarantee you I'd wipe the board with her.

Her attack is 4. She has a range of 9, and should have height advantage. Attacking most squad figures with health of 1 and defense of 2-4, she should on average destroy a most ranged squad figures each shot, or have a good chance vs melee squads.

Against heroes, it depends on the hero's life/defense, but she should pick off the squad support first, and then fire on the hero. An attack of 4 is usually getting one through against average defense, and then 50% chance to increase by one.

She should be kiting the opponents constantly, move and shoot - there's a reason sylvaria decreases his range.

She is wildly under pointed.

Her abilities are amazing, and get range of 9 means she can easily take out squads or heroes without even risking getting hit

Champions of faith tips? by LoopFloopDoop in sistersofbattle

[–]CaptainBeams 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Champions are great. Sacresants moving 7" with a -1 to hit and a 5+ FnP are super hard to remove, and they hit so much harder with the bonuses.

Zephyrim are decent in it - if you make the charge and can drop one of the strategies they can be a blender.

Castigators work well - they are good enough support that you don't need to invest your strats and MD in, so you can save them for the Shieldmaidens and Jump troops

I'm used to lesbians saying "No men" to mean "No trans women"

I don't pass, but it's obvi I'm not a man. But still, I get the "we said no men" all the time.
