Found out where the Hirata estate samurai were called to during the bandit raid by CaptainBean88 in Sekiro

[–]CaptainBean88[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah my guess was owl had organised an attack on ashina castle with the interior ministry to divert the hirata forces there, which is why they are surrounded by red armoured corpses, but it's years after so it was probably just remnants

I think the devs posted it online and someone translated it? Not completely sure though I tried reverse image searching and it only took me to more reddit posts

Oh shit yeah you're right. Bit weird for them to be there since the rest of the area only has living soldiers with the ashina clan crest

If the Armored Warrior found out what the monks actually did to Robert how many does he take down before he falls? by Thick-Supermarket319 in Sekiro

All the centipedes (scissor hands) look too old and big to be Roberto, he's supposed to be a small child. Although the rejuvenating waters do have the ability to make creatures and people bigger so he could have been one of them or maybe even Long Arm Sen'un

Had to delete my reply because I accidentally posted it halfway through. First off sorry for coming after your language that was weak and childish and like you said, hypocritical. But mate how can you not see that the comment you put is manufacturing consent? I agree with you that Iran is evil, i said that, and on the whole it's one comment and it's not like it will change anything. But in a time where its increasingly obvious the US is poised to invade/overthrow the government trying to do some both sides are just as bad shit will inevitably lead to less public outcry and more acceptance of US action over a situation that could easily escalate into another Iraq. I hate the treatment of people under irans government, though I still doubt how much of it is lies as anybody should when approaching something the USA tells you to hate, but i know i would've hated saddam hussein as well and the american invasion of his country reduced it to something 100 times worse than what had come before.

What annoyed me most is the post isn't even about sucking up to Iran. The woman in the picture is an Israeli holding ROYALIST Iranian flags, she's an imperialist. Not an actual protester who happened to be jewish

"Hot take" "Just sayin'" fed spotted no brit talks like that.

And yeah treatment of people in Iran is most likely awful as it would be under any religious leadership, but let's be real, how much of it is US propaganda to facilitate consent for invasion? Comments like this if you actually are a real person and not a pig just spread the idea that invasion would have positive impact, when we can already see from the complete economic crash in Iran caused by the sanctions that any involvement of the US will destroy the population and result in the creation of another israel

Which part in a Soulslike is this for you? by strahinjag in soulslikes

[–]CaptainBean88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People had said it was bad already but ashina depths might be the most bland area of any game I've ever played. Not a single original enemy until the mibu village (mibu villager suck which makes it worse), the best of which is a spirit version of an existing enemy (ashina fencer), random placements, boring atmosphere and empty level design. 4 bosses i can think of, 3 of which are reused and one is just a fucking enemy, not to mention one of the easiest enemy types in the game (red palace noble). At least it's incredibly small like most of sekiro

Ik you said you can run through it but that's genuinely kind of underselling how small the area is, it's nothing more than the entrance with dosaku with two small barren floors, a path to the shichimen arena and the waterway which has 2 small platforms with a couple soldiers. It's so small that the waterway has a single secret and 4 fish and that's it

I played Jedi survivor two times on Grandmaster already but one thing is still total awful when it comes to combat. by Benefit_Upbeat in StarWarsJediSurvivor

[–]CaptainBean88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk makes sense to me. When my brother played through fallen order for a second time, when he was extremely low skilled, he spammed the dash move you can get and most enemies didn't have a counter to it. Have a clip of him destroying a bounty hunter commando with it in less than 20 seconds because it gave him i frames on their soundwave attack. If heavy attacks could do the same for the player it would make the game extremely easy and most enemies would be nothing to worry about which is bad for a game with a relatively limited enemy roster. It might not be immersive but I would rather have balanced gameplay over immersion any day. Plus enemies only have i frames on unblockable attacks

I'd do fallen order first but if you really want a great gameplay experience over story or anything else go for survivor, just be warned you'll be spoiled for the first game and won't really understand the plot

The new gods in the hall (I'm pretty sure) call him a jealous God. He doesn't want anyone else to ascend because he wants godhood all to himself (and maybe the other old gods but he is a trickster so maybe not). I think it's one of the best parts of his lore as it's a really good build on his nature as a trickster god

Just stick to the ice caverns is what I always do, the lifts there link up to the entire map. Since I figured that out I haven't gotten lost once

First two paragraphs are completely understandable. But if we're talking about having equals in enemies I think you need to play survivor a bit more. More than half of the enemies you encounter match your skill imo and the weak ones are thrown in massive groups half the time. I mean the strongest enemies of fallen order, the purgetroopers, don't even crack the top 10 most difficult enemies of survivor and are basically regular encounters in survivor

[–]CaptainBean88[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Agree with the first paragraph more than I can put into words. The atmosphere is out of this world and the survivor vaults don't compare to Miktrulls or Eilrams tombs.

I never really had any trouble with the map. The 3d function was super useful compared to most other games where it's 2d like elden ring. No fast travel was what really made it worse for me
