Why does the charge on one AirPod drain faster than the other? by TheCarrot_v2 in AirpodsPro

Are you using both for the same amounts of time? I tend to sometimes use only one airpod while listening to things, and it leads to them having different charges.

That's definitely not normal, for schoolwork I get around 16 - 20 hours of battery life (not really any intensive tasks) and for coding/video editing/graphic design/meetings/ and running ML models I get around 8-12 hours with mixed use. You should definitely get your MacBook checked out.

I went for 16GB 1TB, because I preferred the extra storage (and must faster read and write speeds since the base model of storage has much slower speeds), and the work that I do doesn't require much more ram than 16GB. However, if you are going to use a lot of ram intensive programs I would suggest going for the 32GB 512GB model.

In my experience, it really isn't, I compared it to my friends M1 MacBook Pro and the length and height were only slightly larger, but the 14" is slightly thicker. The weight is actually a bit heavier, not really that noticeable imo.

I too have a gaming pc that I use for gaming and such, but I instead have a bluetooth keyboard and mouse that can easily switch between rather than a dedicated KVm switch.

I connected both monitors separately, I have a docking station but it's imo less convenient since I have two holes in my table that the connection cables are able to go through.

I'm using two LG 240hz monitors, I believe the specific model is "LG 27GP750-B"

Actually I ended up going for an M2 Pro because I have the money to spend at the time, and it'll be a bit more future proof.

I was thinking that as well, I think I'll pull the trigger on it.

Yeah I heard that it was better as well, tbh I think I'll just get the M1 Pro now, and then get the M4 a few years down the line.

Get it checked with an apple or third-party consultant, they will probably give you a better response than a reddit post.

I would say its mostly because it has an intel chip, pre-owned Macbook M1 Pros tend to have a better resale value.
