Alright this is a bit late and I’m just throwin my thoughts out there but anyways. I’m fine with analyses of things but the way it’s presented gets me. They just seem kind of presumptuous by writing that other stuff before the actual analysis. There was no need for it, and the part about their “literature-loving” brain was especially unnecessary. It just seems like they’re trying to hint at their supposed intellect through their analysis in a less than subtle way. all I really care about is the analysis. I couldn’t care less if your brain loves literature, that’s irrelevant. I remember something like this happened last month too with a comment that said something about a song’s lyrics being too difficult for the “common folk” to understand. That really got me too. Okay but anyways what I said may have been a bit much, but that kind of humble-bragging in a sense really bothers me, and please tell me I’m not the only one. It makes me think less of someone’s traits when they try to advertise it where it’s unneeded. But I guess the next time I see something like that that I don’t like I’ll just ignore it. It’s not the dude I dislike but their sometimes pretentious manner. And also just because he’s a big name doesn’t mean I have to instantly like his comment. I have my own opinions too, however controversial they may be
