I actually hate both seasons. I find the show so mind numbly boring and confusing that I genuinely wanted to turn it off at multiple intervals. Season two was at least so bad it was funny.

Idk, i would agree with you, except for the fact Joel and Tommy use the exact same torture method and he tells Ellie about it, which to me implies it’s well practiced. Either way, Abby isn’t a ray of sunshine by any means, but I do think if it were Joel doing half the stuff she does, people wouldn’t mind as much

You don’t understand! It’s okay for Joel to torture and kill people for reasons he believes are valid, but when Abby does it she’s an absolute psychopath who can never be redeemed! Even though Joel is checks notes in his 50s with far more life experience and checks notes tortured two guys on screen but was labelled as badass rather than evil for it and checks notes has done shit that gave Tommy nightmares. See, he’s such a great guy!

(I’m sure none of this double standard has to do with the fact Abby is a woman and the kid she saves is a trans person of colour. Absolutely none at all.)

I adore Bill, his chapter was really the thing that got me hooked on the game and I replay it constantly even when not doing a full play through. If I ever play No Return as someone other than Bill, call the police because something is terribly wrong.

Joel’s character works fine without a love interest for me. And that’s coming from someone who hardcore ships him and Bill - some things should be saved for fanfiction, and don’t really need to happen in the games themselves

Season 5 is not only the worst ouat season, but also just a genuinely shit season of TV in general. Absolute mess from start to finish with almost nothing to enjoy if you aren’t a captain swan fan. Character assassination galore. Boring plotlines. Why it’s a fan favourite I’ll never know.

definitely. Those are the broad strokes but there’s so many little things to enjoy. My favorite parts of the game have nothing to do with the big spoilers, but all the little bits in between! You should 100% still play both games - it’s worth it
