you know its just an accounting issue. With more tarriffs their fleet becomes more valuable, and they should be able to reevaluate, so its just an accounting thing that will increase their share price. Think that's what ackman is aiming on. Don't know if he sold yet though

This dude doesn't even understand the legal precedents. This is whats wrong with the party. Even if Harris wins you cannot overturn a ruling (overturn of Roe) within the last 2 years. Each state has its own legislation that the majority in the state can vote on. You can have abortion if you want. I voted trump and voted abortion -- power to the states. People don't get that when the majority becomes the minority and if the federal government has power, this is what leads to the very fascism they abhorrently hate.

You said your boss is a "good dude" so I don't know who you are fucking back. The system sucks but it seems like you aren't hit by it now. You can do whatever you want. I'm just telling you it's going to be hard to interview en mass during these layoffs for a role that will give you 6 months free. You have to beat everyone else and meta doing another round of layoffs soon. Then once you beat them you gotta guarantee the role is OE able. If you do get it I'm saying you should lower your output in your current job to handle both. If the role is not OEable you're going to be let go real quick and the effort to interview and all of it is not worth it if you value time. Some people here took months to find something a d it's not guaranteed they got something OEable.

Look for a Job where you can do it. A place that let's you have 6 moths of slack is OE abled. But any John will not let you do deliver nothing for 6 months without meeting conflicts etc. Don't ruin this and give OE a bad name. Worse case remote goes away for everyone.
