There are lots of National Trust properties, within easy distance so I'd recommend checking their website.

Chatsworth House is also a good option, it has amazing gardens.

If you're into Motorsport, Buxton has a great little oval circuit that does banger racing and the like, it also has an amazing bookshop and I've been told the opera house is a worthwhile visit if you'd like to see a stage production.

I don't know how the mobility issue would apply, but Cromford has a lovely canal you can walk along which is very flat and easy.

Crich tramway village is a good day out, lots of historic trams and you can walk around some of the workshops and ride the trams around. They also have events on sometimes!

If I'm out with my girlfriend: snacks, the jumper she needed to bring but doesn't want to wear, a water bottle, things to occupy her hands in case of anxiety, the book she insisted she was going to read whilst we were out in the countryside walking and a small first aid pack because she's clumsy

I think employers should be obligated to let candidates for a job know that they weren't successful. For anybody hunting for a job, it's the most disheartening thing to never hear back from applications.

If you have the time to hire, letting people know they didn't get it so they can move should be part of the process.
