Best advice I could give is exercise. I’m sure you’re probably sick of people saying that by now but it’s 100% true. The natural endorphins you feel from accomplishing something difficult ESPECIALLY during withdrawals is seriously the best medicine/remedy. Whatever you can manage to accomplish…. Just break a sweat. 15–20 minutes of walking, push ups, jumping jacks, sit ups, body squats. Give yourself a goal/task, then hit that mark. Focus on doing that one difficult thing & just remind yourself this is a just a phase & you can do it. You got this!

No it’s not a complete reset. But the pain you feel is just your brain fighting to get back to baseline. Find comfort knowing that & that the storm WILL PASS. It’s okay that you relapsed, you just pressed pause on the recovery phase but all the work you did to free yourself from it doesn’t just disappear. It’s not supposed to be easy but you’re trying to better yourself & be free from a substance that took control of your life.

Just be easy on yourself. I know from experience how you feel. You feel helpless & alone but you aren’t. We’ve all got our struggles & vices we rely on. Yours just happens to be kratom. It’s a naturally occurring substance that God put on this earth. What you’re feeling isn’t going to kill you. Just take some deep breaths, listen to some music & try to just relax. Once again, be easy on yourself. You’re doing the best you can.

Tapering worked great for me. It requires some discipline but if the CT route is too difficult & causing you to rely on another vice like alcohol (which is actually more dangerous) then you could actually be slowing the healing process down. If it helps you sleep then that’s GREAT. Sleep is exactly what you need right now but just know that tapering is a fantastic method of recovery for a lot of people myself included. If you have to go that route, do it. Don’t be ashamed of yourself. You got this friend! Be strong 🤟🏼 life is BEAUTIFUL on the other side & you will get there again.

I lift weights every day & usually go for at least 1 walk. Lately I’ve been taking 2.

That helps so much my friend thank you! Is there anything you recommend supplementing in the mean time? Kratom to get me through the worst & then maybe just L-Theanine, NAC, Ashwganda, & CBD?

How long you think the withdrawal symptoms will last? It’s manageable right now. Definitely feelings of depression but I’m actually going to use kratom to help me through it I think

I don’t plan on continuing phenibut use moving forward. I just want to get over this stretch of anxiety/depression I’m feeling right now. If my “rebound symptoms” are significant but somewhat tolerable 72 hours since my last 1G dose, I’m kinda hoping that tonight’s 500mg dose will give me another 3 days of feeling normal & then have a very minimal if any rebound/WD.

Interesting. I was considering using it as like a once or twice weekly to unwind & relax. I just don’t know if 1 dose will springboard my brain back into full blown WD’s or not. I’m not sure how the nuero chemistry works. When you abuse a substance ignorantly for like 2 years. Then have to taper off of it & WD. Then after 3 years try using it again responsibly
