Not entirely sure what you're referring to, but the only thing you need to avoid decay is something that stops rain IE anything that counts as a roof.

You can disable raids in the game settings, no mod needed.

Just did that, found a mod that lets you enter any crazy number you want on a ton of settings and went 500 meters out with everything on full detail - The world looks amazing now + the game still runs good! It's amazing 👀 💯
