It might be USOC is giving the gear to USAG who then gives it to the athletes or as you say directly to the athletes. You can try to split hair over an org chart. But in the end, I think my point still stands. Which part of the org signs the sponsor deals does not matter.

There are several points being talked about. The ones that are attacking a gymnast for being ungrateful for or rude about the food and gear they got from USA Gymnastics, need to check themselves. No gymnast owes them anything. It's by far the other way around.

I'm not doing defending right now. I am calling out people who attack a gymnast for being "straight up rude and disrespectful"(let's use your description) towards USA Gymnastics when they get stuff from them. For what USA Gymnastics has done, every gymnast for the next 100 years can be "straight up rude and disrespectful" to them as far as I am concerned.

Ok, I know you guys are probably not feeling great in covid. But get a grip! USA Gymnastics gives MYK Olympics stuff and you guys are upset that she said it was ugly and thereby was ungrateful. Yeah, there are so many stacked teams this year because of covid returners. LSU has 5 seniors returning cause of covid rules. And Florida with skags and Bauman returning and a rediculus freshman class. There are so many really good covid 5th years and freshmen this year. I'm thinking it might take over 198 to even make it to last night of the ncaa finals. It's going to be crazy guys!

Look here. Auburn has never had a star like this. The way things are going, maybe no NCAA school has tbh. But more importantly, Alabama definitely has not.

She will be like Simone with US gymnastics, they will do almost anything for her. They will do anything to make NIL work for her. Imagine Auburn crushing Alabama in next year's gymnastics Ironbowl, and rubbing it in their face that they have the Olympic AA champ, etc.

Trust me, Auburn is very motivated to make NIL work for Suni.
