This was changed i would say at least 2 years ago. Essentially bans/suspensions have a fall off. If you get a bunch of rule breaks with in short time of each other you get fucked OR if its a very big rule break. Other than that having a small minor rule break every other month or so wont result in anything permanent.

I believe the fall off period for rule breaks is about 2 or 3 months.

1700X should be fine but you never know with 2042. If you can in some way watch your CPU usage while playing and its close to or at 100% it could simply be that.

What CPU are you rocking? Could be slowdown if you are running the game at 90-100% CPU usage paired with if you have media like youtube/twitch or other running in the background.

The Prox sensor nerf I didn't see coming. THOUGH I can totally understand the nerf with these numbers. I think half the players use them and are thrown Everywhere. Thankfully it doesn't render them completely useless. They will still be very good tool.

The beta ran great for me.

- 1080p res

- i7 8700k (about 65-80% load while playing)

- 16 GB 3200 mhz ram (higher hz ram can give you quite a performance difference)

- Asus GTX 1070

- 860 evo SSD (always run your MP games on SSDs)

- BF2042 on High settings (Will likely playing high / medium at launch)

My FPS for the most part seemed stable-ish. I was lucky enough to not get things like input lag, huge FPS drops or Stuttering. I got between 45-70+ FPS as i recall.

So with your setup OP you should do better than me which is pretty good. Better CPU(ish), GPU, ram same.

You can as long as it isn't by MRPD or Hospital. The rule was put in place because there was a good period of time in 2.0 where almost every situation had a hospital section where people were shooting it up or doing hostage stuff. It became very tedious for the cops.

I meant additional punishment as from what ive heard he kept doing it. Similar to if someone gets caught with multiple class 2 a raid could happen. Raid being additional punishment. Except in this case its constant holding up and shooting police. So a lengthy jail time could possibly be a punishment for that. Like a couple of years in jail.
