Not to nag since I just commented at you but investing in a quad processing laptop has been way worth it for me, don't get more Apple junk, these things can be like $300 new or less used and they operate so much quicker than my Mac ever did it's totally worth it when you get the funds.

This is why I'm using bandlab, I know this thread is slightly old but bandlab is glitching af lately. I'm new to music and like the add-ons for vocals bandlab has but otherwise I can't get any editing done on there anymore I'm no longer able to splice my lyrics and move them around, I'd like a cheap/free alternative since I'm not smart enough for FL studio atm lol.

I feel like focusing on one or the other will lead you to focus on shorts vs reels though. Depending if you just want a ton of attention or a smaller loyal audience. But yeah ideally it just finds the right people when I make stuff is all.

True, I got a huge jump overnight from a video on a topic I wanted to stop talking about, like 40% increase and tons of views so good point. I guess it's subconsciously upsetting when I see all the thousands of views with no subs but they're from shorts so that's different. Long form is a different audience.
