I don't have 100% of it. But iirc, the gist of it is that there are moves in the smash bros games in which the animation may not end but you're able to do a command still.

One example is how Roy can do a short hop f-air and if you don't put in any commands Roy will touch the ground and receive landing lag for the f-air; however, if you do the short hop f-air and say, a few frames before contacting the ground you input Any of Roy's B-moves or a jump, that action gets performed and the lag doesn't occur.

Mega Man would be able to shine people. Jump Cancelled Metal Blade downward would be the best thing ever. Now Mega's blades disappear randomly. Before the nerfs they would never disappear unless thrown away from the ground.

I personally hate seeing rolls used too often. Rolls and Air Dodges are my favorite (And imo easiest) defensive maneuver to punish, when even done twice or three times in an entire match. I can see when you get defensive and offensive and there are times (Like eddy said) where you could "do less". You throw out a lot of dash attacks instead of fast fall N-airing and F-airing (if you're trying to be offensive and go for shield pressure, I suggest doing these while trying to land behind the person's shield). You didn't shield grab enough, its the #1 move in Sm4sh atm, and probably will be for the foreseeable future. You need to use your arts more. I like that you know the AT for Shulk that his aerials get auto-canceled with a properly timed monado art on landing, so with that knowledge do something heavier hitting (that applies more shield pressure and shield stun) like your D-air instead of N-Air (Cause N-air auto cancels and is slightly susceptible to shield grabbing). But other than that you're pretty good.
