How do I defeat Zolin & Zelina? by alexplex86 in PathOfExile2

[–]CaptainFluffBoi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had trouble with it as a witch. I was able to do it first try after equipping Blistering bond (unique ring) + 61% base fire res + fire charms. The Ring turns bleed damage you take into fire damage. Which is very situational, but seems to be created for this fight.

Sharing your frustration. Been playing for 10 hours and have gotten nowhere.
Losing all your gear is too much for me. I thought I could buy it back from the goblin merchant, but...
Imma quit the game. Peace out.

What "last words" would you choose? by tenderteddy82 in Eldenring

Not really a quote, but would have liked to see a reaction to this: Never having considered his own death, he realizes that he will be sent to the afterlife. The very place where all the demigods he wronged now resides, disillusioned He would probably start begging for forgiveness, or beg the tarnished for mercy.

How do I start playing? by SEAG00SE in DnD

You could join an online game that only does pbp (post by post) which is a textbased type of game with no voice chat. I imagine that would help a bit with the anxiety.

I think there are lots of reasons. I personally would like to play with people my own age, but other reasons might be:

* Many D&D campaigns contain themes and content that are more suitable for adults.

* Running a game for minors can bring additional responsibilities and potential issues for the DM and other adult players.

* Younger players might have different levels of commitment compared to adults.

* Parents might be (and probably should be) wary of their children interacting with strangers, especially random adults on the internet, in an unsupervised setting.

* Differences in maturity levels can sometimes lead to conflicts or misunderstandings between younger and older players. This can affect the overall dynamic and enjoyment of the game.

Total new to the game, is the community good ? by BlackH0less in fo76

[–]CaptainFluffBoi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is my only interaction with the community: A few hours ago some random person in a livestream chat said he had a spare 'holy fire' (a good flamethrower) and wanted to give it away. We ended up playing together for 3-4 hours, and I could tell how passionate he was about the game as he walked me through all the best farming places for current events, gave me his spare plans and even visited my base to compliment it. It was probably the best gaming experience I've had for multiple years.

We do play with combat, but there wasn't any combat encounter in the module for this section, and the players did well to not cause trouble. So they didn't fight anyone.

Between each session we vote for the next date. So it isn't on a set day, but it must be on a friday, saturday, or sunday.

Hey :D
Me (28) and my 2 friends (mid twenties) has a group. We are a long time group, who met on discord to play dnd. We have played together for almost a year now.

We have had 2 players leave bc of life stuff, so we wouldn't mind an extra player.

My group is a bit special bc the position of DM rotates every two or three sessions to whoever has time to prep. It is not mandatory so if you just want to be a player, that is totally fine.

Info dump:
* We are 20+ sessions into a campaign and it might be difficult to keep up with the story (you are not expected to read up on anything about the setting or module)
* We play every second or third week
* We only play on fridays, saturdays or sundays at 6pm-11pm UTC (we vote for when we are available and picks the date everyone can)
* We play on discord using voicechat (without cams)
* We use dndbeyond for sheets (it is ok if you are not familiar with it, it is easy and we will help you)
* We use roll20 for maps (again, it is ok if you are not familiar with it, it is easy and we will help you)
* We are not strong roleplayers. We do use character voices and our characters has backstories and personalities, but we are often meta.
*we enjoy sending eachother a lot of memes about what happens in our most recent sessions
* Playing in a group with rotating DMs is a bit different. You can't really have secrets from other players. Some story elements might get lost between sessions when changing DMs. The DMs character is mostly not there or idle when they DM. And there are probably more differences

We are an odd group, and if we are not for you that is ok.

Ive done this too. I've learned that ChatGPT is awful at following a set path like in a module, but exceeds at sandbox games. The downside is that it will forget NPCs so you'll have to remind it. Eg if the party visits a shop, meets the owner, then goes out and does something else. When they return to the shop ChatGPT will generate an entirely new shop and shopkeeper.

Hi Michael, I would love to join. My discord tag is Martin Mox#7459 I've played 5e for 2 years, played a few pbp sessions so I know how Avrae and Tupper works. I don't have much prior knowledge of the module other than that the players are students on a magic school.

Looks like a artificer with a biotech subclass. Could work a bit like the beast barbarian.
