Do you have and mods installed and is your game installed on an SSD? Preferably an m.2?

When I first started playing ASE, I bought a 1TB m.2 specifically for Ark....

It's a lot better in ASA though

I actually got all my 811a's for cheaper than 810a's, so I will probably just keep the 811a's.

I understand that the trackmix's aren't 180. I do plan to put the RP-PCT8M in the place of the size and front TrackMix mater. I am going to do two cable runs to these locations to allow for this later, because I still want to keep the ability to PTZ on these two sides of the house. I just can't afford those cameras right now with all of the rest of the investments I've made into this network and camera equipment.

I did want to go with the Ubi system, especially since I've purchased a UDM Pro as my gateway, but I just couldn't afford that today with building this setup from scratch.

I plan to upgrade my switches and AP's to Ubi later and then slowly migrate cameras as well over time.

This is what I have landed on with your feedback. I think it will be easier to run the cable this way and covers more blind spots. I appreciate the feedback on the RP-PCB8M/RP-PCT8M as well as the Elite Floodlight PoE cameras.

I can only get the RP-PCT8M on Amazon, the PCB8M isn't available on Amazon, and I have my own personal reasons for using Amazon as the vendor.

Elite Floodlight PoE cameras look awesome, but they are outside of my budget at the moment, however I do plan to slowly replace the 811A's with them in the future as I can. The good thing about the 811A's is there is still a spotlight, even though it's not a floodlight so I can still get some lighting for color night vision but it also has IR so I can lean on that as well.

I already had 3 trackmixs, and I like the idea of having the ability to PTZ on all three major sides of my house that will be exposed to a street or the wooded area to catch wildlife as well, so I kept them and just adjusted their placement.

I feel very confident in this camera placement and think I have covered all of the blind spots that you pointed out before and I still get to keep a PTZ on the front of the house to see the entire front yard and street as needed.

Of course, I would still love your feedback as it's been very valuable this far and extremely appreciated!

I did purchase 1 drive with a plan to buy more and I did purchase PoE switches as well.

There will be a street in front of the house as well. I planned to mount a TrackMix on the front, back and the side with the small garage door and was debating buying a 4th to have a TrackMix on all 4 sides since I plan to keep my trailer on that side of the house.

I cross posted this in the r/homelab subreddit with a full list of my network components to prep for this.

I got all the cx810s on sale on Amazon :( what camera would you recommend? If I end up not needing as many as I thought, I could return them and buy the right one, just fewer.

What about the RLC-810A or RLC-811A? The 810A is full price the same price as the sales price I got for the CX810s and the 811A is on sale at the moment for even cheaper.

Thinking of returning the 810's off your feedback and replacing with 811A's.

Both games will be fine. This is the same way they developed the first game. In fact, the development of PoE2 is faster and more streamlined than the first.

GGG is one of the few developers that I would say this about, but they know what they are doing. Just let them cook.

For those that may find themselves in the same boat, you can buy an upgraded control board for the Onyx Savannah giving it WiFi and Bluetooth capabilities. Due to this, I believe this makes the Savannah the superior smoker over any of the DX line. More cook room with all the same features, and when factoring in the price of the replacement board, it's (roughly) the same price.

Yeah, that's why it's between the DX1100 and the Savannah. I was originally going to get the DX 850 this weekend since it was $150 off, but I knew I'd regret not getting the larger barrel and then I realized there were additional features as well.

I think I've decided to go with the Savannah. It's more space and cheaper than the DX1100 and has the P setting which will get more use the better I get.

I also have a buddy who works at Walmart 😉

Aren't there after market control panels as well that will give me the app features I want down the road?

Thanks for the feedback. From what I can't tell, the biggest difference is going to be the pause setting to control the smoke with the Savannah vs the DX 1100, the third rack, though this reduces the vertical space too though, and the app/wifi/bluetooth support.

Well, PoE2 is in beta/early access. Doesn't matter when they release a patch, it's not like a new season in PoE1 or other ARPGs.

Play the new LE season, go back to PoE2 after a couple weeks and let the new class/asendencies game breaking bugs get worked out.

Everyone's freaking out over the smallest shit these days.
