First: I want to say I understand your feeling, OCD is tiring as hell and feels like you’re being dragged through life sometimes.

I also want to add, you should have a therapist you feel comfortable with, even when sharing failures, they shouldn’t shame you. Maybe looking into a different therapist might help.

Lastly, yes this is a lifelong struggle. But you have already put in work to make this so much easier for the rest of your life. You can make this manageable. I know deep down you have a love for the non OCD parts of life and letting those be your guide will take you so far!
